Facet5 was developed in response to client demand for speedy, practical information to assist with decision-making throughout the employee lifecycle. During the 1980s, personality tools began to respond to the requirement for more accessible and less complicated information. Facet5 was specifically developed to meet these needs.

1980
FACET5 DEVELOPED | Facet5 was first developed by Norman Buckley and his colleagues in the late 1980s. It was inspired by research done at Edinburgh University and developed with the enthusiastic assistance of some key UK companies.

1994
FACET5 FAMILIES CREATED | The concept of Facet5 Families was created to aid in interpretation. Facet5 Families continue to grow in popularity.
1997
FACET5 MODULES CREATED | Facet5 modules created, Searchlight, Leading Edge, TeamScape and WorkPreferences provide focussed application.

 

 

2001
WEB ADMINISTRATION | Facet5 moved to web for administration and delivery. The creation of Response Latency Analysis for identifying Impression Management is a first in the industry.


 

2002

AUDITION CREATED | Audition for criterion based interviews was released, validation studies in call centre management and private banking.

3DV ACTURIAL PREDICTION ENGINE | Creation of 3DV actuarial prediction engine. Integration of Facet5 and Leadership Review. Integration with corporate competencies.

TEAMSCAPE MOVES TO THE WEB | The transfer of TeamScape to web and integration with Team 360 reviews completed.

2003
MULTIPLE LANGUAGES AVAILABLE | The beginning of the creation of different language versions to support Facet5 in other cultures. Questionnaires and report outputs available in mulitple languages.
2004
NORMS DEVELOPED FOR DIFFERENT LANGUAGES | The creation of a research model to allow norms to be developed for different language versions.
